Rossignol Blackops Sender

One tester loved the Sender Ti so much he didn’t bring it back. Eventually others, hungry for their turn, had to hunt him down. Of the 25 models at test day, the Sender Ti delivered the most curiosity. It’s part of the BlackOps family of skis replacing the popular S7, Soul 7 and Sky 7 skis. The Sender Ti is the highest performer. “It’s super-stable, no chatter, and still easy to ski,” wrote Clinton Barnum. “It feels like you can ski anywhere with this ski.” It charged through chopped-up crud, swivelled through bumps and railed on groomers. Testers did notice that the Sender Ti is a heavy ski and remarked on the limited length options. Even bigger, powerful testers found the shortest length of 180cm a little long. A lighter, softer option is the non-metal Sender, which skis more like the Soul 7. Still, Barnum wasn’t the only one to label the Sender Ti “my favourite ski of the day.”
