Ski Test 2021
Rossignol Blackops Rallybird * Editors’ Choice*
Making the transition from all-mountain to freeride ripping.
Women “Either I found a better bump run or this ski made it easier.” Ski Canada tester Sarah Hauser wasn’t sure, but after reading the feedback from a dozen others, we are: it was the ski. Tester after tester praised the Rallybird for its ability to make any kind of run seem easier. Several called it their favourite ski of the day. “Groomers and bumps, short and long radius, surprisingly versatile,” said Deanna Papineau. Surprising because this is a relatively wide ski for that much adaptability. The 170cm test length comes in a 102mm waist and weigh 1.8kg/ski. A Ti version is stiffer but it was just as loved. Both were a do-it-all, test-favourite ski.
