On the eve of the 2016-17 World Cup season in October, President and CEO Mark Rubenstein of Alpine Canada, which oversees the national Alpine, Ski Cross and Para-alpine ski racing teams, launched Club ACA, a fan-inspired loyalty program.

It’s free to enroll and members benefit from numerous perks from the club’s founding partners, including  Helly Hansen, Head, Avis Budget, Descente, Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing, Level Gloves, Atomic, SportChek, Swix Toko and, yours truly, Ski Canada. Additionally, regular newsletters, race results and the insiders’ scoop from the Canadian ski stars will be shared directly with club members. As fundraising efforts rev up, the Alpine Canada online store will feature exclusive gear, apparel, hats, belt buckles and more so fans can show their support.

“The underlying premise of our new ACA Club is to foster the ultimate ski fan club, connecting all fans of the national teams and athletes in unique ways, by receiving content and contests, all the while supporting our partners,” said Rubenstein.

There’s a lot to be proud of after last season’s strong podium results. The Ski Cross team is number one in the world with 18 titles, the Para-alpine team collected 22 World Cup podiums, and the Alpine team secured three medals and 24 WC top 10s. alpinecanada.org
