Giro Polartech helmets

SWEAT-LESS LID

Giro is making its lids warmer and drier by building Polartec Power Grid fabric into its helmet liners. The textured fabric quickly absorbs moisture and diffuses it—like the squeegees used on tennis courts—for faster drying. Power Grid is also full of air spaces, which work as insulation when it’s cold, and ups breathability when it’s not. Basically, it’s a partnership in more comfortable heads. Find it in Giro’s Union, Zone, Jackson, Range and the women equivalents; giro.com

Ryan Stuart
Ryan Stuart has a ski for every possible condition and a jacket to match. Well maybe not quite, but the magazine’s Technical Editor has more than enough of both and can’t wait to test out whatever is coming next. When he’s not testing skis or writing the buyer’s guides, you can’t find him exploring his bumpy backyard on Vancouver Island. @ryan_adventures
