LX Stands For Luxury

If 96mm is a rockclimbing shoe last and 104mm is a slipper, 102mm might be Goldilocks, especially in Lange’s LX ski boot. It’s available in men’s and women’s fits, flexes and sizes. Lange redesigned its widest boot for comfort, while the Dual Core shell construction uses a sandwich of plastic, harder on the outside and inside and softer in the middle, to transfer energy with more snap. The women’s models also have more insulation and a tongue that distributes power more evenly across the boot.

Ryan Stuart
Ryan Stuart has a ski for every possible condition and a jacket to match. Well maybe not quite, but the magazine’s Technical Editor has more than enough of both and can’t wait to test out whatever is coming next. When he’s not testing skis or writing the buyer’s guides, you can’t find him exploring his bumpy backyard on Vancouver Island. @ryan_adventures
