Fall 2010
Apparently Klaus and his crew know where to go, how to deliver and when the conditions are right around the Arlberg.
A huge powder plume on a ridge and a big-mountain backdrop make this a classic signature freeskiing shot.
This photo has it all: evening light, a beautiful view and deep powder in a great composition.
With the snow still hanging in the air from the skier's first turn, you can see that this is real skiing - a trademark of Yves Garneau.
The cool angle and the way this shot is split in two make it one of my absolute favourites of the 2010 ski season. Photo by Martin Soderqvist
I had to look twice to find the skier, but that's what makes this shot so interesting. Overall, a really well-framed photo.
