Nigel Harrison
Nigel has spent over 30 years climbing, mountaineering, ski touring and ocean sailing, often in combination, and has done a number of ocean crossings in astonishingly small, overloaded sailboats to go skiing and climbing in places which are otherwise impossible to reach. As a result he has been chased by many large animals, bitten by spiders, and caught some interesting tropical diseases, and occasionally, done some skiing.
Continuing his quest to become a fully fledged conquistador of the useless (and also not die) nigel is currently trying to ski as many volcanoes around the ring of fire as he can, with the lift goal of roasting a veggie wiener over lava.
As his kids grow up equally enthusiastic adventurers, the whole family, often led by partner and super mum Chelsea, is increasing the amount and intensity of their travel and adventures and they look forward to sharing many parasites and gastro illnesses together in the years to come.
Louise Hudson
Skiing Sun Peaks all winter and playing padel in Portugal each summer, Louise Hudson writes for magazines, newspaper travel sections, online tourism sites, and her own blog, OneTwoSki. Published in three countries since 2005, she’s written five tourism textbooks with her husband, Dr Simon Hudson, without coming to blows!
Marie Piere Belisle-Kennedy
Amateur ski racer, year-round mountain lover, après-ski connoisseur, industry insider, award-winning storyteller, risqué puns lover… Just a few ways to describe freelance writer Marie-Piere Belisle-Kennedy, better known as M-P! A regular contributor to Ski Canada pages since 2006, M-P grew up in Quebec’s Eastern Townships where she learned to ski, turning her obsession into a ski event/media career in the Laurentians where she wore many hats. Published in both English and French across multiple platforms, she loves to find the human interest stories and share the hidden gems to always shine a light on the sport she lives for.
