It’s an elevated state of skiing
Something magical happens when geography, weather and access combine the way they do in Utah. The state is known worldwide as a bucket-list tourism destination, and no one stands to benefit more than skiers.
As the western rim of the Rocky Mountains, the Wasatch Mountains catch consistently incredible amounts of dry, deep snow. These serrated peaks are the reason Utah can credibly claim to have The Greatest Snow on Earth®.
Enjoying the snow is easier in Utah than just about anywhere else. The international airport that’s 10 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City is a gateway to a skier’s paradise that’s home to 15 major ski resort destinations, 10 of which are within a one-hour drive from the airport
