Early-bird pricing for 2024-25
As peculiar as it may feel to plan for next ski season while the current edition is peaking across much of North America, there’s now a practical reason to do so: The recent launch of early-bird pricing for the four major multi-resort ski passes (which Ski Canada explores in detail in our Multi-Resort Ski Pass Comparison). Here’s what’s new and notable across the board (all amounts are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted, and apply to adult passes):
Epic Pass
Early-bird pricing:
$982 for the full Epic Pass, with the Epic Local Pass costing $731 and the Epic Day Pass starting at $52.
Early-bird deadline:
Not yet announced. As with the three other passes covered here, prices continue to rise before going off sale early next ski season. Check SkiCanadaMag.com for more information as it emerges.
2023-24 pricing:
The full pass cost $909 at launch and increased to $1,025 before going off sale Dec. 3.
| New next season: The full Epic Pass includes 16 discounted “Buddy” and “Ski with a Friend” tickets; Switzerland’s Crans-Montana resort is joining (subject to acquisition close); and Whistler Blackcomb is introducing the Epic Mobile Pass, which gives holders the option of storing and accessing their passes on their smartphones. |
Ikon Pass
Early-bird pricing:
$1,249 for the full Ikon Pass ($1,149 for renewals), with the Ikon Base Pass costing $869 ($819 for renewals) and the Ikon Session Pass starting at $259.
Early-bird deadline:
Not yet announced.
2023-24 pricing:
The full pass cost $1,159 at launch and increased to $ $1,309 before going off sale Dec. 14.
| New next season: Unlimited access to Crystal Mountain in Washington State; two additional “Friends & Family” discounted tickets (for a total of 12); one free 2024 bike park lift ticket at Aspen Snowmass, Revelstoke, Panorama, Sun Peaks, Sun Valley, Snowbasin, Steamboat, Stratton, The Highlands, Loon Mountain, Solitude, Brighton, Snowshoe, Mammoth Mountain, Schweitzer, or Kitzbühel; and a credit of up to $1,400 CAD to spend with CMH Heli-Skiing. A portion of every pass purchased is also helping to fund mental health initiatives in mountain communities. |
Mountain Collective
Early-bird pricing:

Early-bird deadline:

2023-24 pricing:
$540 at launch increasing to $570 before going off sale Dec. 10.
| New next season: Bromont in Quebec’s Eastern Townships has joined; and for a limited time, new pass purchasers receive a third bonus day at the Mountain Collective resort of their choice. |
Indy Pass
Early-bird pricing:
$469 for the Indy Plus Pass (no blackout dates); $349 for the Indy Base Pass ($279 for returning customers); and $269 for the Indy Base AddOn Pass, which requires an unlimited season pass at an Indy Pass ski resort.
Early-bird deadline:
Indy Pass pricing is based on capacity, with early-bird passes reportedly selling out in 10 days last spring.
2023-24 pricing:
The Indy+ Pass cost $379 at launch and increased to $499.
| New next season: Resort including Mt. Washington Alpine Resort on Vancouver Island, Big Moose Mountain in Maine, Mt. Eyak in Alaska, Colorado’s Powderhorn Mountain Resort, Steeplechase in Minnesota, Wintergreen Resort in Virginia, and Wisp Resort in Maryland. Pass holders also receive a 10 percent discount on day seats or packaged visits to cat-skiing operations including Big Red Cats in Rossland, B.C., Cascade Powder Guides in Washington State, and the Idaho trio of Selkirk Powder, Brundage Mountain Snowcat Adventures, and Soldier Mountain Cat Skiing. |
