Head into the alpine quickly every Sunday and Wednesday with a heli-lift right from the resort. After that first powdery run, you earn your turns along with two ACMG-certified backcountry ski guides who know the neighbourhood’s best chutes, high-alpine bowls and tree-skiing. For $700, lunch is included. Good fitness and familiarity with skiing or splitboarding in the untracked is expected, but if you’re waffling, you’re likely more capable than you think.
