Batman had Robin. Maverick had Goose. Tom Sawyer had Huck Finn. Every adventurer needs a good wingman and for skiers who mostly ski firm snow this one is as loyal as they come. “Moguls, trees, groomers, fast or slow, they never let me down,” said ski test director Ryan Stuart. In Revelstoke’s fresh snow they seemed to bog down, but once the snow had been chopped up they came alive. These skis had an energetic and snappy feel that bounded from turn to turn in bowls, trees and bumps, yet felt smooth and stable moving fast on the groomers. The construction is a versatile mix of Titanal and a lightweight wood core assembled in an asymmetric design. They’re the best kind of companion.

Ryan Stuart
Ryan Stuart has a ski for every possible condition and a jacket to match. Well maybe not quite, but the magazine’s Technical Editor has more than enough of both and can’t wait to test out whatever is coming next. When he’s not testing skis or writing the buyer’s guides, you can’t find him exploring his bumpy backyard on Vancouver Island. @ryan_adventures
